Many vehicles on the road today, and nearly all newer vehicles, are equipped with some combination of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. These systems rely on information gathered from multiple different components located throughout the vehicle to operate properly and safely. ADAS components that may have been moved or altered by a collision, vehicle repairs, or even normal vehicle maintenance, can cause poor performance or failure of these systems to operate properly. A calibration is often necessary to correct the affected components. An ADAS Calibration is the precise aiming of the ADAS components using a combination of advanced measuring tools, techniques, and software to communicate with the vehicle and accurately restore ADAS components back to their original position for optimal system performance.
